The good news for all Warzone gamers is that while they might not be able to preload Warzone 1.36, those that have already done so should make the process run more smoothly.
Having some players already preload will take pressure off servers, which are expected to come under considerable strain during the release of Season 3.
But by removing a large with the limited preload program should help to avoid slower download speeds.
As many will already know, this week’s Warzone update includes Cold War Season 3, and everything that goes with it.
This includes a revamped Verdansk map, a new Battle Pass to buy and a fresh selection of weapons to wield.
There will also be the new Season 3 Operation Rapid Sunder event, which will be kicking off before Season 3 is released this week.
This will include a special playlist and mission for gamers to complete, which is expected to end with the destruction of Verdansk.
And Activision has also confirmed that another event will be starting after Season 3 begins, which will be called the Search for Adler.
Details on this new event are as follows: “Later on April 22nd, players can jump into the “Hunt for Adler” event in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone to complete challenges in both games to discover clues surrounding Adler’s whereabouts. Complete a full set of challenges in either game and unlock an exclusive Adler Operator Skin and new cosmetic rewards.”
